Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that he signed the following bills into law from the 2019 Regular Legislative Session:
ACT 113—HB 79 Designates a portion of United States Highway 190, Gause Boulevard West, as the “Officer Jason Seals Memorial Highway.”
ACT 114—HB 172 Provides relative to the training, registration, and certification of fire-resistant material applicators.
ACT 115—HB 226 Provides relative to testimony by experts.
ACT 116—HB 239 Provides relative to required instruction in personal financial management for public school students.
ACT 117—HB 320 Provides for access to applied behavior analysis providers in schools.
ACT 118—HB 345 Provides for coverage for breast and ovarian cancer susceptibility screening.
ACT 119—HB 347 Provides for the coverage of diagnostic imaging at the same level of coverage as screening mammograms.
ACT 120—HB 370 Provides relative to prescription drug benefits for persons with stage-four advanced, metastatic cancer.
ACT 121—HB 492 Provides relative to the compensation of persons wrongfully convicted.
ACT 122—SB 107 Adds post traumatic stress disorder to the list of injuries which are compensable for injured public employees.
ACT 123—SB 129 Requires a local municipal or parish authority to allow certain pedestrians to stand in a roadway to solicit charitable contributions under certain circumstances.
