TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy released the following statement following President Biden’s nomination of Philip Sellinger as U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
“President Biden has made an outstanding decision in choosing Phil Sellinger to be our next U.S. Attorney,” said Governor Murphy. “Phil is a highly respected attorney with decades of experience at the highest levels of our legal system, both as a prosecutor and in private practice. I know that he will serve New Jerseyans with honor and distinction and uphold our U.S. Attorney’s Office’s storied reputation for independence and integrity. I congratulate Phil on his nomination and look forward to his confirmation by the U.S. Senate.”
