In July last year, the Queensland Government committed to implement the recommendations of the Queensland Family and Child Commission’s report When a child is missing: Remembering Tiahleigh—A report into Queensland’s children missing from out-of-home-care.

Recommendation 28 required the Commission to undertake a further review of information sharing between agencies involved in making decisions about the safety of children in home-based care, such as foster care and family day care.

The Commission’s Supplementary Review report is now released.
