SaskGaming’s flagship charity event is back and it is going to be more exciting than ever! So find three friends, grab your race gear and get registered for the fourth-annual SaskGaming Charity Championship taking place on August 16 at Casino Regina.
The scavenger hunt-style competition will see 50 teams of four compete in puzzles and fun challenges throughout downtown Regina, while vying for a cut of a $25,000 prize pool for the charity or non-profit of their choice.
“Over the past four years, SaskGaming’s Charity Championship has raised more than $219,000 for Saskatchewan charities and non-profits,” Minister Responsible for SaskGaming Christine Tell said. “This is what the corporation is all about, giving back to our communities and supporting initiatives across the province.”
Charity Championship teams are encouraged to raise funds prior to the event. The more money a team raises, the more point multipliers they will receive. These point multipliers create advantages during the competition. All funds raised will be endowed to the team’s charity or non-profit of choice.
“Charity Championship is a fun, high-energy event that brings the community together for so many great causes,” SaskGaming President and CEO Susan Flett said. “SaskGaming has truly put the ‘fun’ in fundraising, while lending a hand to those who need it most.”
