QUÉBEC CITY, March 1, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

  • 698 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 922,679*;
  • 14 new deaths, for a total of 13,996 deaths;
  • 1,439 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 7 compared to the previous day;
    • 86 new entries,
    • 93 new discharges;
  • 90 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 4 compared to the previous day;
    • 10 new entries,
    • 14 new discharges;
  • 15,067 samples conducted on February 27;
  • 98,304 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 76,690 positive: 387 declared for yesterday, including 298 positive.

*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.

Vaccination

  • 11,206 doses administered are added, that is 11,079 doses in the last 24 hours and 127 doses before February 28, for a total of 18,433,508 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 305,883 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,739,391 doses received by Quebecers.
