QUÉBEC CITY, March 8, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 935 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 930,750*;
- 29 new deaths, for a total of 14,120 deaths;
- 1,252 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
- 98 new entries,
- 100 new discharges;
- 77 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
- 12 new entries,
- 14 new discharges;
- 11,443 samples conducted on March 6;
- 103,968 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 81,170 positive: 398 declared for yesterday, including 292 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 4,781 doses administered are added, that is 4,679 doses in the last 24 hours and 102 doses before March 7, for a total of 18,485,915 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 308,281 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,794,196 doses received by Quebecers.
