6月1日，副省长魏增军到西安市儿童福利院看望孤残儿童，同孩子们一起庆祝“六一”国际儿童节。
魏增军实地查看了福利院婴幼儿生活管理、类家庭养育等方面工作，详细询问孩子们生活、学习、教育和康复情况，观看了孤残儿童和老师们共同表演的精彩节目，为孩子们送去节日礼物，向福利院送上慰问金。
魏增军对福利院开展的护理照料、养育辅导等工作给予充分肯定，向为儿童福利事业辛勤付出的老师和工作人员表示感谢。他指出，孤残儿童、困境儿童是社会上最弱小、最困难的群体，为他们营造安全无虞、生活无忧、充满关爱、健康发展的成长环境，是家庭、政府和社会的共同责任。要聚焦特殊群体，把孤残儿童保障工作放到十分重要的位置，完善政策措施，加大经费投入，健全工作机制，凝聚各方力量，提供关心关爱，确保这个特殊群体生存、发展、安全权益得到有效保障。儿童福利机构要进一步加强管理，提高服务水平，把儿童福利院建成孤残儿童健康成长的幸福家园。（记者 刘曌琼）
