5月29日，省委常委、统战部部长，省招生委员会主任委员黄宁生一行到广州市越秀区洋紫荆东风幼儿园开展“六一”慰问，向幼儿集体赠送慰问品。到广州市第十六中学和执信中学检查高考考前准备情况，并召开2019年普通高考准备工作会议，研究部署高考准备工作。 黄宁生充分肯定了我省及广州市2019年的各项高考准备工作。他指出，高考是教育领域具有政治意义和全局意义的一件民生大事。今年高考报名人数创新高，高考期间恰逢端午佳节，各地、各有关部门和各考点要深入贯彻落实习近平总书记关于教育的重要论述，进一步认清形势，提高政治站位，切实增强工作责任感紧迫感使命感，精心组织好各项工作。要坚守安全底线，压实高考安全工作责任，切实加强高考工作的组织领导，严密安全防范措施，备好应急处置预案，确保高考安全平稳有序实施。要始终贯彻“以生为本”的理念，进一步优化考试服务，把“暖心服务”做到位，特别是要更加重视端午期间的交通疏导管控，密切关注天气变化，确保每位考生顺利赴考。要加强考务人员队伍建设，重视和关心考务人员特别是监考教师的待遇。与此同时，还要确保高考综合改革、高职扩招和“高考移民”治理等重点工作有序推进，勇于担当、攻坚克难，确保全面实现“平安高考”“公平高考”“诚信高考”“暖心高考”目标。
