5月27日至29日，省委常委、副省长王宁在南充市和遂宁市调研县域经济发展，并检查当地安全生产和应急管理工作，强调要强化责任落实、工作落实，以高度的政治责任感抓好汛期安全生产工作，确保人民群众生命财产安全。
王宁先后前往南充市营山县、蓬安县，遂宁市蓬溪县、船山区、射洪县，深入农村、企业车间、产业园区和重点化工企业、防汛工程建设现场，与当地干部群众、企业和项目负责人交流，调研县域经济发展情况，实地检查汛期防灾减灾和安全生产等工作。
王宁指出，县域经济是构建“一干多支、五区协同”区域发展新格局的底部基础，是全面建成小康社会的重要支撑。南充、遂宁要从实际出发，坚持分类指导，推动县域经济高质量发展，在全省“一干多支”发展战略中发挥更大作用。要按照特色化、专业化和现代化的发展方向，培育壮大优势特色产业，促进城乡融合、文旅融合、乡村振兴，增强县域自我发展能力，实现可持续发展。
王宁强调，当前正值主汛期，要牢固树立防大汛抗大灾意识，进一步强化临战准备、科学调度和责任落实，全力以赴打赢防汛减灾、安全度汛这场硬仗。要时刻绷紧安全生产这根弦，从严从实从细抓好安全生产工作，做到守土有责、守土负责、守土尽责，切实落实安全生产属地责任，严格落实安全生产各项制度规范，加大巡查检查力度，扎实开展重点领域、重点区域特别是危化品安全隐患排查治理，坚决防范重特大事故发生。（记者 袁敏 王青山）
