5月31日，首届百工技师工程受助学生毕业典礼暨就业大会在成都机电工程学校举行。870余名来自省内各地贫困家庭的学生，完成3年职业教育，正式走上工作岗位。这意味着，该工程首届毕业学生已全部实现就业。
5月31日，首届百工技师工程受助学生毕业典礼暨就业大会在成都机电工程学校举行。870余名来自省内各地贫困家庭的学生，完成3年职业教育，正式走上工作岗位。这意味着，该工程首届毕业学生已全部实现就业。
百工技师工程是我省在全国首创的精准智力扶贫项目，成都机电工程学校为项目执行学校，主要针对全省建档立卡贫困户中的应届、往届初高中毕业生和在校职校生，为其提供全免费优质职业技术教育，负责推荐就业岗位并提供创业发展机会，实现“培育一名技师，脱贫一个家庭”，阻隔贫困代际传递。
截至目前，该工程已实施3年，在全省61个县市区累计选拔1888名建档立卡贫困户受助学生，涵盖汉、彝、藏、回、羌、苗等10个民族。该工程被纳入我省年度社会扶贫重点实施项目，2018年获省政府首届“四川慈善奖”最具影响力慈善项目。该工程计划持续到2020年。
会上，毕业生与省内外多家企业签订就业协议。四川恩大教育集团在已定向捐赠百工技师工程专项培养经费2亿元的基础上，继续捐资1亿元，以帮助更多受助学生。
