6月1日，全省海绵城市建设工作现场推进会在萍乡市召开。与会人员现场考察了萍乡海绵城市建设情况，会议通报了全省海绵城市建设情况，对今后一个时期的工作进行了部署。省委常委、副省长刘强出席会议并讲话。刘强指出，萍乡在海绵城市建设方面真抓实干、苦干巧干，形成了很好的“萍乡经验”，值得全省各地学习借鉴。各地要以习近平生态文明思想为指导，进一步贯彻落实国家和省关于海绵城市建设工作的总体要求，学习借鉴“萍乡模式”“萍乡经验”，对照目标要求，突出问题导向，着力加快海绵城市建设。刘强强调，各地要认真贯彻落实省委、省政府决策部署，以立足全局、系统设计的理念统筹谋划海绵城市建设，以精致实施、精细管理的原则推进海绵城市建设，以做大做强产业助力海绵城市建设，要多方筹措资金保障海绵城市建设，努力建设人与自然和谐共生、人民满意的宜居宜业海绵城市。
