覃伟中到佛山市开展科技、教育领域调研并检查2019年普通高考考前准备工作
6月5日，副省长覃伟中结合开展“不忘初心、牢记使命”主题教育，率省有关部门赴佛山市调研科技、教育工作，深入佛山市实地考察了季华实验室和佛山科学技术学院仙溪校区建设情况，并到佛山市南海区桂城中学察看高考监控室网上巡查系统、保密室、考务室，检查佛山市高考考前准备工作。 覃伟中指出，季华实验室是首批4家广东省实验室之一，自筹建以来，实验室“边建设，边科研”，取得可喜成绩。实验室要聚焦打造先进制造科学与技术领域国内一流、国际高端的战略科技创新平台，积极对接国家重点科技项目、省重大科技专项，加快推进工程建设进度，争取实验室早日落成。他强调，佛山市各级、各部门和各考点要做好交通、食品、安全等高考服务保障，完善应急预案，确保高考安全平稳有序进行。他还勉励佛山市科技学院要坚持“高校+高端研究院所+龙头企业”的特色发展模式，争建省一流高水平理工科大学。
